Looking into bying a spare wheel including the tool kit, and want to make sure to buy the correct kit.
Could someone post a picure of how the tool kit (jack etc) is stored under the spare wheel in the Tourer version of the Astra?

No picture - but I'm pretty sure the jack fits in one of the side cubbies in the sidewalls behind the rear seats. Not looked at it since I first checked out the car, so a little rusty on specifics.

Thanks for the answer. I guess thats the case for the hatchback, found some info that the tourer has a foam inlay for the tools where the spare would sit on top. Found all the parts in the mean time, except for the restaining nut that holds the spare in place. Anyone knows where to find that missing piece?

Finston is correct. The ST has the tools in the wall of the boot as opposed to the hatchback which has everything kept under the wheel (which is very annoying). If you're missing anything, either try Ebay or go into your local dealership.

The tools are under the wheel, in a special foam tray. The tire is held by a long thread bolted to the boot floor.
I have the full sized spare wheel added as an option when I bought the car.
There is nothing in the walls.

I will try not to forget to take some pictures for you one of these days. :)

Just FYI if you go for the full sized spare wheel, you will be no longer able to put the boot cover underneath the boot floor. The wheel is too high up and theres simply no room. On a few ocations I had to remove the cover and just leave it in the garage instead of underneath in the storage area.
