Hi All,

My apologies if this has been discussed previously but my 1.6t is due for it's first service. My car is leased so I'm leaning towards getting it done by Vauxhall. My nearest dealership is quoting £160.00 is that about right? or is anyone aware of better prices from a dealership I can use for haggling.

Thank you in advance.

Hi graham
It all depends how much you want to pay. A local independent can do it with genuine parts & oil , stamp book and it will keep the warranty in tact .If you go this route just get them to put part numbers on the invoice .
The only downside is if it needed say a replacement steering rack under warranty you may have to go back to Vauxhall but the likelihood of that is low on a newish car.

Yes, it's right ballpark for a Vauxhall dealer. The Vauxhall website 'owners' section has details on fixed price servicing and you can book your service through the site. ... ained.html
