Watts Linkage

Post by gse24f » Wed Feb 12, 2020 10:14 pm

Hi

I am considering fitting a Watts Linkage to my 2017 Astra K 1.4t 150. Happy with the way that it handles but want to see if I can improve it. I am looking for a favour from somebody who has a K with the Watts Linkage fitted. I would appreciate it if somebody could post photos of the front and rear of where the link fits behind the wheel, both sides please. This will give me an idea of how i need to modify my car.
This is my first post so hope I have posted in the correct part of the forum

Thanks

Al

To gain the full advantage, the bushes that the torsion beam uses would have to be changed to the softer ones used with the Watts Linkage set up - that's how you get the softer ride now that the bushes do not have to take as much sideload on cornering.
