This is a UK 🇬🇧 forum, if you are from any other country then it's up to you to find out the laws.
There are heaps of users from other countries you goose, so it would make sense to preface your advice with what I said. No harm in mentioning what I did, for obvious reasons.

In addition to this, almost no other country has a forum for our cars...

Are you so dumb? The webpage is astrakforums.co.uk the clue is in the UK part which is united Kingdom which consists of N.Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England.

Of course there is going to be other people using the forum from other countries and also people with other vauxhalls!

The advice i gave was UK specific.
I'm not a expert in laws in other countries and neither are you! So don't act like the big guy. Tit!

For reference these are the Osram Nightbreakers which are much whiter.

These F2 headlight H7 led bulbs fit the astra without any modification and are road legal.

Can I see a picture? Are they any good at night ?

I haven't taken any night pictures as my phone camera doesn't do it justice. If you go on the astra k Facebook page, there is plenty of pictures on there of F2 leds as they seem to be the most popular. No hassle, fit nice, no canbus error message (light out) and brilliant light output.

Out of interest, and slightly related.
Has anyone had any issues with the headlight caps falling off? I've lost two over the last month. All of them have rattled loose (assuming it is the state of the roads given most of them are like ploughed fields.) I've ended up putting them back on and using duct tape to keep them in place. They are £8 a pop from the local dealer.

I have Osram Nightbreakers and they are whiter and brighter than standard but still look yellow compared to the DRLs.

LED or HID is the only route to take unless you buy blue coated halogen H7 bulbs which are white but light up nothing.

I use Phillip's RacingVision which have a white tint. I have just cleaned my car, and its Summit White, so tonight I'll try and get a pic up for you.

They are much better than OEM fitted ones.

I think its trial and error, as with Scottys suggestion, I was debating the Osram's, but end of the day the prices of all these bulbs and accessories fluctuate so much, sometimes one bulb is better value than the next.
I use www.powerbulbs.com or autobulbsdirect.com as they are a reliable source. I don't like the cheap chinese crap on Amazon/eBay.
