Temp sometimes drops really fast freezing the condensation on the inside. Happened to me a few times with my old H.

I have a frozen screen on the inside as well, I've had it on most of the vauxhalls I've had, i don't run the air conditioning in the winter but I've been told that it's probably best if I do so as it's supposed to take the moisture out of the air so when you leave the car it shouldn't steam up or freeze, this i learnt from the sales guys at Vauxhall.

We have this one occasion in both cars and I've had it on plenty of motors previously. Closest things to a remedy I've found is those bags of silca beds you can get from amazon, they act as a dehumidifier, once saturated you just pop them in the microwave for a couple of mins. They don't stop your windscreen from fully condensating but there is a marked difference between using them and not when thawing out your car the next day.

I haven't had any ice form inside since using them.

Fwiw I have air con on all the time as the West of Scotland is pretty damp.

Not yet had ice inside, but have had a lot of dense condensation on the windscreen. (Quite miss my previous car's heated windscreen!)

I have had doors freezing shut (just ice around the seals, not the locks) and it has only been just below freezing here so far. Wondering if this is related to the dripping that frequently occurs when opening them. Anyone else had this or got any tips for stopping them freezing shut?

Yep, I've had it. It has to be very cold outside for it to happen though.
