Wheel Arch 'Liner' Replacement

Post by Dudley Boy » Sat Aug 10, 2019 10:19 pm

Hello, sorry if this has been covered before. I have ripped/taken off half the liner from my OSF wheel arch, from the bumper to the suspension. Can now see the timming belt. Happened when scrapped along a kerb!

What is the part actually called?
Where can I get the part?
Does it come as half the wheel arch or the whole wheel arch?
Is it easy to fix?

Think this may have been covered when looking at removing front bumpers.
Thanks in advance. Graham

Hi
Try eBay for intact second hand ones.

My advise to you is make sure you fit all the correct plastic rivets and inners, screws and bolts.
Liners coming off at speed have been known to sever rubber brake lines. I think 1 Vauxhall model was recalled years ago for that very reason.
It will be the auxiliary belt you can see I presume. If you can see the timing chain you have problems, doubt you can.

Quick update, ordered parts from stealership as struggled to find online. £51 without any discount. Booked in to fix. Bodged a repair with gaffs tape at rips
