It should be possible to update the sat nav 900 for a premium or take the old one out. But may still charge £600 for the pleasure. As for the Speedo. I wouldn't bother
Agree on the speedo....Looks great, but having to shell out a lot of money just to have it updated to a more fancy one, that will essentially display the same information as the old one, is just not something i could imagine doing.

Are the new clocks fully digital like Audi?

The new infotainment system in the Facelift is IOU and the new system is IO6. The HMI has changed slightly and a company in the US called infotainment.com is working in loom adapters.
I found this Chevrolet brochure on the current GM infotainment systems and it gives a great over view on our system and the new system and all the associated features:

Here is a good over view of how the system works without OnStar.

There is no information regarding whether it is just a new HMI and a loom and the screen and whatnot can be reused ?

I can not find anything about the OS that you talk about, do you have more info ?

It’s a new HMI and a modification to the loom would be required as the connectors have changed slightly. IOU and IO6 are examples of codes that GM use to describe different systems. The Insignia has already been upgraded to IOU from the IO6 system that it was launched with.

Some of the video reviews seem to suggest that there's finally a sports chassis option with stiffer dampers (yes!), a more direct steering setup (double yes!) and a funny thing called a Watt's Link at the back - odd how things come back round, isn't it?

looks like they have made the bumpers a bit fussy..

I like the bumpers on my VX line, yup didn't get front foggies but i like the stance they have with the 18's

You can configure it now too, the standard headlight detailing does look different too and there seems to be a standard LED option (sharing the link to the configurator doesn't work)

Edit: this does! https://www.vauxhall.co.uk/cars/new-astra/build-and-price.html
