Stearing wheel "leather" quality
Has anyone of you experienced that the stearing wheel "fake leather" material has been peeling off after 1.5 years?
I mentioned it to my local Opel service and they said it's not leather, so their is no warranty for that.
I can't acccept this. A 1.5 years old car stearing wheel (after approx 30.000 Km ride) should not look like that.
For the record, I'm not using any extra hand cream or lotion and never happened anything like that with my previous car stearing wheels...

It should be covered under warranty. Most of the eco box cars dont use real leather on the steering wheel. Mine is in perfect condition, could be a bad a batch because its the first time I see this.

Try using a good leather cream on the wheel. This will help keep the skin oils from degrading the wheel.

Mines 4 year old with 105000 miles on and the steering wheel is pristine.
Re: Stearing wheel "leather" quality
Steering wheel leather is made by Couro Azul so it should be of decent quality.
