Does anyone know where you can buy tinting (e.g. plastic film) to fit over the rear view mirror? I am severely hacked off at being blinded by following vehicles that are fitted with led headlights. SUV's are the worst as the design engineers seem to have ensured that the headlights are at just the right height to consume the entire mirror.
I know what you're talking about, I also don't think the mirror auto-tints dark enough, nor fast enough. Often times I'm looking at bright lights behind me and the mirror thinks everything's fine.
If you want to buy dimming film, I would recommend looking for LightDims on eBay or getting it straight from their webshop (lightdims.com). I bought their film once from ebay to dim the digital clock I have on my nightstand, and it worked great. They offer several different options to choose from.
Agreed, the mirrors have the response time of a Brexit minister, but if these lights were not so bright in the first place the problem would not exist.

Prolonged exposure to LED headlights causes eye damage - I'll stick to the traditional bulbs thanks very much.
