CrossClimate +

Post by AdieMcc » Mon Feb 12, 2018 8:18 pm

After months of dreaded tyre spinning and not even moving in a bit of snow, i took the plunge and ordered 2 new front tyres from tyresonthedrive.com
£243.98 fitted at my home.
Got good reviews on here so I’m expecting good things!!

Wow..anyone with them continental tyres on should change straight away.
Steering wheel feels a lot lighter with sports mode on.
They look a lot better aswell.
It’s not raining yet but I have high hopes.
Trying to persuade her to do the back ones aswell

After a couple of days with new front tyres I’ve noticed
•It goes round corners better
•It goes over bumps in the road without feeling like I’ve hit a pothole
•Bit quieter
•even the steering wheel feels a lot lighter with sports mode on
I’m that happy I’m going to order 2 new tyres for the back wheels.
Makes the ride a lot more enjoyable!

Winter tyres, I never thought I would look at them, or all season tyres, I always thought I would get by with summer tyres and take it easy in the winter. Well after the Shite experience this winter I will think again. Car came with Bridgestone turanza which were horrific, after much research changed to Goodyear Eagle F1 asymmetric 3. Never again, small hill getting out my street and spin spin spin in the snow and ice, wee fiestas and corsas were passing mad laughing at me. So never again, will be thinking about one of these tyres in future. To make it worse the Mrs was in the car when it happened and she said let me do it, I'm in rage. I said ok go for it smart arse and the same spin spin spin and I had to reverse Back to the drive. Turned off the traction control and took it real easy to get out of the street but that made my mind up there and then, next tyre change will be something a big better
