Just sprayed soapy water on my back wheel valves and there leaking. Phoned Vauxhall but they said not covered by warranty. Probably need new sensors £100 a wheel??
Anyone know weather I can just change the valve on the sensors?

They sell valves on eBay. Can I replace the valve in the sensor and will I need to relearn the sensor again?

Just change the valve.
No, it will not need relearning.

Just changed the valve on mine. As it was leaking from the base of the old valve. Bought the valve of ebay as listed previously and got Kwik Fit to fit the new one for me. Didn't have to relearn either. Been fine since.

Thanks for your help. Just going to buy new valves then and replace.

Well judging by the queue at sainsbury to inflate the tyre on the auto pressure machine there must be similar problems with Mercedes and nissan and volkswagen because they were all in the queue for air in the tyres. Unless of course this was normal drivers checking the tyres on a routine visit.

Just had 2 front tyres replaced by Kwik fit mobile fitter, whilst doing it, both of the tpms valves were broken. (spraying water on the valve showed the leak)
On visiting Kwik fit in Ashby they advised they didn't have the tools, so have had to go to National tyres (not only did they have replacement valves they fitted them there and then!) Next time I'll ask if the tyre supplier has replacement valves and if they can fit them. Not going back to qwikfit complete waste of my time.

From what a tyre garage told me when I had my tyre replaced normal air in tyres loses about 1-2psi in warm weather and loses in cold weather with having nitrogen in tyres you don't lose any at all

Dont believe the Nitrogen-hoax !!
Cheap-air contains 78% nitrogen (21% O2; rest mainly CO2 en Ar): after initial inflation to 30 psi, your tire contains 23,4 psi of N2.
After losing all the components (except N2), the pressure drops to 23,4 psi, and after refill (cheap-air again) your tire holds 23,4 psi (N2) plus 0,78 * 6.6 psi (N2) = 28.55 psi nitrogen (i.e. 95,16 % N2).
A second reinflation (pressuredrop max. 1,45 psi) gives a nitrogen-partialpressure in your tire of 28,55 psi + 0,78 * 1.45 psi = 29.68 psi i.e. 99% Nitrogen.....
Absolutely NO rocketscience......!
