Somes SUVs can be pretty convincing - but I largely agree with you.

Another 96 HPand not much faster then my ST - why bother?

Since i work for a dealer who sells Opel, Peugeot, Citroen and Suzuki, i was able to compare the 3 cars.
3008, Grandland X and Vitara. Didn't like the Vitara that much, but the 3008 and Grandland X are awesome.
Not just saying that because i work there. My issue are the 1.6 liter petrol engines, which used to be pretty bad.
Since the platform of those 2 cars is the same (EMP2) the only difference while driving i noticed was the noise, the Peugeot is a lot
guieter inside at higher speeds. I don't like the seats in the 3008 because i have long legs and you can not get the AGR seats it the 3008.
If you are looking for a good engine on those 2 cars you should go with th 1.2 liter 130hp engine or the 1.5 hdi 130hp since we no longer have the 1.6l diesel engine (hdi). The automatic transmission is good to, we now have the 6 and 8 speed auto. transmission (eat6,8)

Which they would put the 1.6 thp petrol engine in out of the 208 gti or even better the 308 gti.
