MY2020A pricelist

Post by 880PEL » Thu Feb 20, 2020 2:09 pm

There has been released MY2020A pricelist in Baltics.
Well, it sure is a ripoff

I assembled similar spec car as I´m having right now. Result is fantastic 31500eur.
For that money it´s possible to get fluffy 3-cyl unit with "whopping" 9,9sek 0-100km/h.

Fun fact is that for the same 18" bicolour wheels that previously was 500eur option they´re asking now 1200eur.
Top spec innovation plus trim that already has led headligts and tailligts it´s possible to add intelliluxes for 1690eur.

For aux heating that used to be approx 1100eur they´re asking now 2000eur.

This is insane! This current car has to be in use at least another 10 years until electric rules the world :)

In pricelist the cheapest Astra will be 18k eur.
Currently they´re selling 1,4 turbo aut box, ACC, Intellilux etc sports tourers from stock for 21k eur.

I can see masssssssive performance drop and masssssive price increase!

Here, in Portugal, the cheapest Astra is quoted at 25k€ (petrol) and 28k€ (diesel).
1.4 turbo, aut gearbox, ACC, Intellilux, sports tourers, costs 36k€.
What were you really complaining about? ;)

That looks like a big price increase.Over here in the uk cheapest Astra is list price £18885 .thats a 1.2 110 petrol in se trim.
BUT discounts are available , let's take a 1.2 145 petrol Sri nav , list £23145 but should be looking at around £19865 which compared to the new golf is good value.

These pricelists are made according to scale of living and taxes. I´m not complaninig since I have the last proper available Astra
Like pompeydave said it´s increase that´s big. Currently I´d go for a Golf because Golf has better dynamics and locally well-equipped Golf is cheaper than well-equipped new Astra considering that both are available with some discount.

The prices have gone up most likely because EU penalty, which all carmanufactors have to pay for each gram of CO2 a car emits over 95 grams which is the limit before penaltys have to be payed. And you can be sure, that the manufacturer want be the one who will pay for it, but the consumer will.
I am not quite sure how much it is but I think it is 100 euros per gram over 95.

In my country price for facelift has gone up for about 4.000€. Starting price was around 15.500€ at launch (end of 2015).
Now price starts at 19.450€.
Was considering to exchange for facelift with petrol engine but i changed my mind when i saw prices.
Way too high price right now.

Here the cheapest Astra Hatchback is € 27.448 and the cheapest ST is 29.457

If you want a ST that has all of what you state you would need to buy the "Elegance"

This is the 1.2 petrol with 145 HP

This model cost €34.143

BUT...You say Automatic, this is another €2.008

Oh and the matrix lamps will set you back another 2.544

So total cost for the 1.2 petrol with "aut gearbox, ACC, Intellilux" will be €34.143 + €2008 + €2544 = €38695

And this is only a 1.2, i can not even see a 1.4 in the lineup here.

So, what are YOU complaining about :D :D

It also seems that the Active safety brake and the lane keeping has been removed from midlevel trim and is now only available in the most expensive version.

Maybe Vauxhall was selling the astra to cheap, and the french has come in and upped the price to make a profit.

I am not likely to buy another astra at those prices though.

Also worth noting is that the above prices is ONLY valid if you want "indigo blue"

Absolute red and Summit White is an additional €400 and all of the other colors will add €940 to the price.

Want the multimedia navi pro (Navi radio instead of "R4.0")....Well, add another €2.544 to the price.

Electric boot lifter.....Add another €870

So yeah, get the elegance and add a few extra options and you are looking at a car that is about 50% more expensive than the 2019 model that they had on sale last autumn.
2016 Astra K 110HP, Opel Eye camera, front and rear parking sensors, dual zone climate control and heated front seats, sight and light pack.
