Think I'll keep my pure-GM 1,6T 4 cylinder, thanks.

Not convinced on the front end, grill looks odd and will look worse the the standard 'halogen' headlights.

A bit surprised they go with the psa engines, on the other hand the 1.2 supposedly is one of the most refined 3 cylinder engine and powerwise a big upgrade to the current 1.0.

Not so sure on the 1.2 puretech engine. Few people in work with it have had coil pack issues frequently, loss of oil and one threw a rod on 50k miles.

Noticed the drivers dipay unit is similar to what's in the insignia. Apart from that i think they've ruined it tbh. Peugeot 308 it will be by time they get rid of the chassis.

So glad that i ordered my 4 (!) cilinder 1.4 turbo autobox before facelift.

Only CVT on petrol? If i want CVT, I would rather order toyota...

I think they've ruined petrol range of this car. Diesel looks better.

I don't think they have? The article states: "It's not possible to install the French firm's engines in the Astra platform, so separate units bespoke to the Astra have been brought in."

The choice of the 1.4T and CVT is very strange. The only thing I would like is the heated windscreen and Bose options. I am not keen on the revised headlights.

Headlights look identical. Bumpers look like a straight swap too.

Wouldn't mind the new clocks, look smart.
