Diamond Vision is the darkest bulb in their line up. I was foolish enough to buy into the blue crap and had them on my previous vectra. They are what people call cosmetic lights. In terms of road illumination, they gave almost half amount of light of the Xtreme Vision +130 range.

Stokoe have you had any issues with the h7 HIDs? Are they a worthwhile upgrade?

I've used the blue tint bulbs in the past and they do look a bit better but the light output is pretty poor from them.

Sadly HIDs will fail the MOT now. :-(

it takes no time to put stock bulbs in for m.o.t then change back.

In my country, if you have HID's installed and you dont have automatic headlamp levelling, you are guaranteed to be stopped every single time a police car passes you.

They will give you a fine and send you to have the car MOT'ed.

This means that not many do this anymore, as they get fed up, paying fines and MOT fee's plus waste their time taking the car to the MOT station.

Honestly i think that in most cases that is a good thing, some of these cheap ebay kit's that most boy racers buy will severely blind oncoming traffic.

Maybe it is not that big of a problem with new lamps with lenses, but in older style lamps it can be really annoying. :)

My neighbour got pulled a couple of months ago by the law and got an on the spot fine for having them fitted. To back it up,I just found this :-Under the Road Traffic Act 1988 it is an offence to supply, fit or use vehicle parts which are not legal. In summary: it is not permitted to convert an existing halogen headlamp unit for use with HID bulbs.
