It seems as if 1.6 Turbo petrol engine has been dropped from the range. You can no longer specify it on the official web site. This engine is not available in other countries either.

Same for the bi-turbo diesel 1.6 160PS. Those were the only two models that had Watts link rear suspension and Acoustic Pack. 5 engines left in the configurator.

It was on the 1st January 2019 19.5 model year price list but gone on from the 12th February 2019 version, which lists the Griffin special edition.

No one knows what PSA are going to do. Maybe they do same to Vaux/Opel than they made for Citroen (second or third, lower spec brand?)...

Havent they also dropped the 110PS diesel ?

In my country they only seem to have the 136PS version available.

The UK site still has the 110PS engine - https://www.vauxhall.co.uk/cars/astra/h ... price.html

https://www.vindobona.org/article/opel- ... -in-vienna: PSA CEO Carlos Tavares announced that he wants Opel to keep its German and Austrian brand identity and to embrace it, and that he would leverage Opel's pedigree of German engineering and Motorsport and use the company's heritage to reach markets and customers that may not consider a French car due to perceived reliability issues. If this is true, it makes sense to improve reliability by getting rid of the most powerful engines, as they probably put more stress on the car.

https://www.autoexpress.co.uk/vauxhall/ ... -emissions: Car makers will have to meet average fleet CO2 emissions of 95g/km by 2021, a significant drop from the current average of 130g/km CO2. A quick wat to decrease average emissions is to discontinue the most polluting engines.

Are there any sales figures for the different Astra modifications? The 200 and 160 PS engines probably didn't sell in big numbers.
