So the SRi no longer gets rear floor heater ducts?!?? Why would you take them away?

And while the AGR seat is a nice addition to the SRi, the price has increased by the cost of an AGR seat...

OnStar is officially dead.

Be interested to see what the new centre console design introduced providing larger storage compartment looks like...?

Overall, what a mess of a once nice car with so much potential.

Only bit which sounds interesting is the revised centre console storage so hopefully we can retrofit it to previous astras as the little slit below the heater controls are a waste of time.

Death by a thousand cuts comes to mind.

Ah well - back to the Japanese again for my next car - or perhaps the Koreans.

Revised centre console sounds interesting. Retro fit to MY16?

The rest is a bit naff...

The car's "development" has been going mostly the wrong way since the start, when they started eliminating sound insulation and the watt's link...
Then the changes just kept on coming. which push the car down in quality.
I guess that's what Peugeot wants, and then they can just dispose of Opel/Vauxhall.
I think it's a crying shame - the Astra has a lot of potential and with a few improvements it would be absolutely best in class.
The last thing it needs is to feel cheaper.

Peugeot is replacing the engine package to that of it's own making, It pays GM to use the original engine packages and I presume to do so a new revised sub frame would be needed and the brunt of the savings would have to be made to cover those costs.
