Trouble with the Ks paint it is only covered with a 12 month warranty, so good luck with any claims.

Hi

That's ok as it will be before the 12 months are up.

Cheers

Mine metallic touch wood no issue I believe they put on 2 coats instead of the 1. And it harder to scratch. I thought I pay the extra premium for that option rather the bog standard colours at the time

This is one of the main reasons I chose the White over the Black..
my current car is a Seat Leon in 'Alor Blue'.. which basically means.. 'Bright Blue' lol.. names of colours always makes me smile..
but that car is very very prone to chips also..

I ordered the white on my Astra K thinking that if I do get chips they will be less noticeable than if I had a darker colour..
I was also speaking to my dad about it, and he mentioned that white was a good choice as typically white is the strongest colour to get as it's slightly thicker, not sure if that's still the case nowadays or not though.

but was very disheartening to have a car that got taken care of so much covered in annoying chips.. I even got a touch up stick and filled them in, but it's certainly not perfect..

Can't wait for new car to come now :)

Hi

Mines in for its service next Thursday and I have asked them to examine the paint finish as I feel it is not acceptable. We shall see how far I get.

Cheers

Good luck. I've emailed Vauxhall to notify them of my paint concerns and then I'll get the dealer to look at it during service and follow on from their reply.

But its visible only with extra source of light (LED torch). In normal sunny day its not visible :/ And iam not the only one with this issue as far as i know. Check Your cars... Its an issue mainly in dark paint colors. Especially BLACK.
