Indeed! Iv bought cable ties for mine to fix the cable firmly in place. Just waiting for the lamp to arrive now. Don't want it flapping about and potentially coming loose and causing issues.
Where have you ordered the lamp from? I've looked online and can only find them massively overpriced on eBay. I've contacted my local Vauxhall service dept. but still waiting to hear back from them :|

You're best off going into the dealership. I got mine about 3 days later.

I've just got this replacement lamp delivered (price for a pair was around 17€). Seems to be brighter than stock lamp with LED bulb. I'll try to make some photos when it gets darker outside.

I got mine off eBay. There's a lot of people overcharging for them on there, but I was lucky to get one cheap from Korea. Took 2 weeks to come, but was a genuine part.

I just installed it tonight. Wish I took photos now, as think I did a pretty professional job of the soldering, wiring, insulation and cable routing! ;) Have to say, with 2 cob LEDs at each side, it looks amazing. Lights up the whole boot with bright even light. Definitely worth the hassle if you're thinking about it!

Thanks!

Yes, I also managed to get hold of one in the end. I popped into my local dealer and they had one. I fitted it last night and yes, it does make loads of difference. Shame Vauxhall couldn't just include a second boot light, especially since the hole is already there!

I must admit these bulbs are 2x as bright as the ones I had in. Only wish I could put them in the interior lights but they won't fit. Worth buying for the boot though. Nice and bright at night :D

This is such a worthy upgrade to do. I done this in my Astra and it makes a huge difference in the boot 8-).

I just went to my local dealer for the part and was less than £5 for it, even comes with a bulb.

Dont understand why the hole is left open, not even a blanking plate over it or whatever.

I'm interested to know what the holes further into the boot are for too if anyone knows?

Did they fit ok? I bought some that look like these but I found them too long to fit in the boot light?
