None at all. Pretty sure it's only for FM reception as the DAB aerial in in the back window.

I have ordered the same small ariel and there is 1-2mm gap at base... Should i be worried about water or is it just fine like it is?

The shark fin airel only has one connection wire not two so don't think it will fit.
Astra K 1.4T 150 Nav. Black,18" wheels, sensors front/back, heated seats/steering wheel, shark fin aerial, washed every 2 days :D

The shark fin has 1 wire and yours has 2. I think the connectors are different so they won’t plug in.

If I'm correct the arieal is for your onstar system from what the dealership told me when I got my 67plate Astra 3 weeks ago your dab aerial is in the back window

The roof aerial is for Onstar and FM with DAB in the rear window so a simple generic Sharkfin from Ebay would do the job if it's just for asthetics.
