Does anyone have an astra 1.0T that spits out crap like in the video ?

Evans Halshaw is where we bought it from. They've done warranty work already and seemed to do a good job. Edit but yes I'm aware of their awful reputation. I found them a lot better than BMW sytner though.

Jct600 seems to be an up north thing. I'm in Wales.

Dropped the car off. Showed tech the video and he said it didn't look right and they are getting a lot of problems with the 1.4T engine and cracked pistons resulting in misfire. He said it also affects the 1.0T on cylinder 3 but he didn't think it was that. Engine is running fine so I don't think it's anything as serious as that.

Will report back either way.

Tech says no codes so no fault. Doesn't use oil so no mechanical fault. Guess we should welcome in the age of direct injected turbo petrol as a repeat of the nonDPF diesel era and their associated smoke and particulates..
