Good news might have to order a couple of wishbones. If you can get the part number that would be brilliant.

Hi yes I have also noticed this creaking noise when parking in my garage. It doesn’t seem to do it every time but I did read on another thread that VX have said that it is normal and just a characteristic of the power steering!!
Keep us informed if you get any success.

Yeah took it down...they said it's not normal and sounds like worn bushes. Could be possibly the anti roll bars or suspension struts1. It's booked back in for Monday for them to have another look at.

There seems to be a number of owners experiencing the same problem with the 'creaking' noise. Please keep us all informed how you get on Jonathan.

Mine has done less than 1,000 and it's now booked in for Monday. Lets see how they do with finding the "creaking" noise.

I have an Astra K Sri vx line. Its been in 5 times now and i’m in the process of rejecting the car via ombudsman. I think they have a bad batch of chassis’s! My brother does car transporting and he noticed a batch of Astra’s creaking while loading and un-loading. Mine has had doors re-aligned and greased on most occassions and still not fixed! After greasing the door seals the noise stops for 24 hours but then gradually gets worse! Check the doors!!
Tip..... keep all evidence/ invoices, phone records etc....

Greasing the door seals to stop creaking - really!!

That infers body flexing - so much for that special thin steel that was dreant up between GM and Tata to save weight? - surely thay must have ensured torsional stiffness was up to par.

My husband is an engineer and that’s what he thought too.
There is also quite a bit of movement on 3 of the doors and when you push them, they make a squelching noise.
