Door lock pins

Post by Phillbo » Thu Dec 14, 2017 1:47 am

Hi guys,
Would someone know a way to remove the plastic door locking pins? I'd like to replace them with some alloy items.

Cheers,

Phill

They screw off, if your not going to use them again then a pair of pliers will do the job as the initial few threads are tight. The alloy ones just screw back on.

Changed mine today. The original black ones are really tight, got a few plier marks on them getting them off. I thought they had been glued on they were that tight but as Cornish says after a few turns they screw off and I won't be putting them back on as the chrome ones look so much better.

Hi I’ve changed mine brought some off eBay but I had to remove the door cards to remove the old ones and use grips to grip the metal rod as well as the plastic door pins as they are very tight
