Car's just come back from 2nd year service and the oil specifically says Dexos 1 Gen 2.

See how it goes now...

My car was delivered in august last year. My service manual recommends however dexos 2 although it obviously needs dexos 1 generation 2. Seems they didnt bother to reprint the manuals?

Engine is running perfectly though and feels smooth and quite powerful. It should have dexos 1 generation 2 from factory

Hello ArcanumFox

Ive heard that there should be new SW for engine ECU finally solving all problems with engine, like bad power delivery of cold enigne.
Can you confirm that?

Interesting read

Should it matter what the make of the oil is, as long as the standard D1Gen2 is met? But it is indeed an interesting read - claiming 100% LSPI prevention!

Hi would anyone know what oil they would have put in mine with a production date 7/06/2017 don't want to change the oil, only done 1500 miles with no problems, but if it's got the wrong stuff in will have to.

Hi
Yours will have the Dexos 1 generation 2 oil in.
I think the bulletin states that all new cars were having it put in before the bulletin release. The bulletin is at the start of this thread.
