Courtesy light unit hanging down

Post by Jakejake » Sun Oct 18, 2020 1:39 pm

Hi all. New member here with a 19 reg Astra Elite Nav.

All is well so far and loving it... Except a loose bit of trim as pictured. It can sag even more and rattles a bit.

Pushing it up back into place, nothing seems to click into place so it immediately hangs back down. Am I missing something with this?

Cheers all

Hi, I had exactly the same problem, forever pushing that bit of trim back into place. Well got really miffed at it one day and gave it a good whack with the palm of my hand right in the middle and it clicked into place perfectly not moved since. So be firm with it and you will be agreeably surprised.

Agreed, it needs a lot more force than you would think to click into place.

Blimey that was nerve wracking. The power needed really made it feel like the headlining on the panel would crack, but nope, worked a treat. Thanks to both 👍🏻
