Leather seats in Elite Nav

Post by KeithT » Sat Jul 15, 2017 9:57 pm

Does anyone else find the seat base in the Elite incredibly hard?
I only got the car two days ago and on even the shortest run it is very uncomfortable. It feels as if it is simply a leather covered board.
Certainly, the car I tried beforehand did not feel like this.
Are there different seats?

There are agr seats to be chosen instead of standard ones. I find them extremely comfortable.

Like you, I found then hard initially but they do soften up over time. Just like a new sofa!

I agree. Uncomfortable. Style over function.

The AGR seats are quite firm, but I find them very comfortable. German cars usually have firm seats, but they are better on longer journeys. Soft seats may feel comfortable at first but they don't support your back and may cause back problems. I think these seats are a perfect mix of firmness and comfort.

Are the Elite Nav seats AGR?

I had the AGR seat option fitted to my SRI - they are excellent - and even better after I found out how to work the lumbar support feature.

A friend of mine has even managed to get a continental driver's AGR seat fitted and working for the passenger side by the Dealer!

I thought I was getting one (like my Driver's seat) for my passenger, when I chose the AGR option, but was disappointed.
