Nope no sport button. Mines an Elite made for comfort.....lol..

It handles good but it’s not a patch on the GTC. :-)
I disagree. Current Astra has better track times than GTC so it must handle better.
My GTC handled far better than my K. Both same engine K feels quicker but the GTC cornered on rails and had much firmer suspension. It also had 245 profile tyres compared to 225 on the K which probably helped. The K torque steers far more than the GTC so using power in a turn in the K is not as easy as the GTC.

K handles well but nothing like the GTC in my opinion... I do prefer the K though especially mine being an estate. Plenty of room for the kids, Dog and luggage but still fun when I’m on my own..

Faster track times could be to the faster 0/60 and in gear acceleration times over the GTC.. ?

Strange, My K has very stiff springs, up to the point that it throws you around when going over shitty roads. Could be that Vauxhalls are set up different to the Opels.

Well UK roads are crappy and not smooth, and the maximum speed is 70mph, so Vauxhall has to tune for that.
Opels are probably tuned for Germany, which means smooth flat roads but also driving up to 200kmh on the Autobahns. Particularly high speeds work best with firmer suspension.

I agree with you that Opel's suspension settings on the K are firm, but having driven mine on the autobahn unlimited sections I can understand why. And road surfaces in my country are nice and smooth (except for cobble stones in some villages!) so it's all fine.
