I am far from being a professional in the field of photography. I would love to be a professional photographer, but unfortunately in Portugal there are no great opportunities in this area.

I'm a geocaching lover, so I always use it whenever I go out to look for some caches to take pictures of various things and the astra is no exception.

Thanks for the comments.
Just FYI, your "non-professional" photography is the reason my wife chose this color! No joke here, I actually showed her your very first photos of the car and she loved the color. The dealer didn't have vehicles on stock. We chose it from your photos and the interior was chosen on faith alone (again - no vehicles in stock with the light interior).

What I am trying to say - anything we post here will help future owners and without even knowing it - you already have. ;)
Thank you.

I am glad that in an indirect way I helped in choosing the color of your new car. :)

Are you still waiting for the car to arrive?

It arrived 3 weeks ago and already has a 1000km on the clock. :) Very impressed with it, just a few minor complaints that I will have to get used to: small fuel tank, a bit less practical than the Zafira it replaces, fuel consumption isn't that great yet - all things you can live with and easily forgive given how great this car is.

One of the things I do not like about this car is the fact that the fuel tank is small. It has exactly the same capacity as my Corsa C and for a person like me who does a lot of kilometers, I have to refuel every 2 weeks.

Agreed. The tank is a pipette! :D So far I had to refill 3 times for 3 weeks and I don't consider myself a high milage driver. This will be the first weekend I will be skipping the refill.

My car usually only runs on weekends and usually every weekend it's about 350 kilometers. Hence I say that I have to refuel every 2 weeks.

The corsa of the company is my car from day to day and does every day 120 kilometers.

A photograph to celebrate the 10k kilometers. I'm sorry for the reflexes but it was taken with the phone and I do not have polarizing filters for it :P

Another ST Astra.
I'm afraid the Blue Astra in the beginning is just purely stunning.
How's the fuel consumption going?
I have a 110hp CDTI Sports Tourer.

Oh... and...
Saudações lisboetas ;)

Well, it's not a thirsty engine, and it must be more enjoyable to use than my CDTI.
It has 16" or 17" wheels?

16" :)

to have the bigger wheels was much more expensive and I preferred to invest the euros in other extras than in rims.

This engine from 3000 rpm gains another life
