That is strange. My is MY2017 1.6cdti and i just have to press the clutch. Easy. New method is really complicated.

According to the seller this change came with my 2017.5. But it may have been implemented with version MY2018

I agree.

And since I have a MY2016.5 at home I'm going to have to start thinking about what car I'm in and how the SS works. The opel only complicates.

I also have the new method and i like it. Just put the car in neutral with clutch released. Car will turn off. Than just put it in first and press the clutch. When its green release the brake and away you are. No more shifting and all. You can also partly release the brake to already start the car when its about to turn green.

Now that I know how it even works makes some sense. :D

But for those who were accustomed to the previous way is a bit confusing at first.

Yesterday was a day to fill the fuel tank and do a few more kilometers. I like this engine more and more. For motorway there is no better and the ACC is fantastic.

Already passed the 900kms made since the 22nd of September and I just want to do more.

That's exactly how mine works. :(
The only problem is that if you are standing on a rise / fall with less than 5% incline the car starts to move because I have to release the brake to start the engine.
