Re: My Astra K SRI
I had to look at the picture a bit closer to realise that was the case.
The boot lights I have didn't fit, but I ordered new bulbs last night and they should be here today for me to fit before travelling up north.
Regarding the resistor, is it a case of just solder it onto the feed or do you have to cut a bit off?

If you're going for those resistors I linked, they come with wires and connections attached. I cut the wires off so then you just have the bare connections on the resistor. I then soldered a separate short piece of wire on both sides of the resistor to the cluster (one to positive side and one to negative)davidw wrote: ↑Sun Jun 04, 2017 8:42 amI had to look at the picture a bit closer to realise that was the case.

Re: My Astra K SRI
Does doing that bypass the normal connections then? Is it as simple as that?

I've just had a look at the way it goes together, seems quite simple, the only thing is will it invalidate the warranty? I need to take it in for a condensation claim as I've just found a pool of water in the light.

I would wait until that is sorted before you do soldering... I'm not too sure about the warranty but I wouldn't risk it. I'm sure they'll look for any reason possible to invalidate warranties

Do you have a link to the bee sting aerial? The thread on the one from my Astra H is too small.
