Hi All!
Greetings from Baltics :) You have here nice English-speaking community.

I´ve been driving Opels for quite some time.
Since 2016 we had Corsa 1,4 automatic for family´s second car. We were planning to drive it for like another 10 years BUT....

..some time ago I discovered that 1,6T is discontiniued for Astra. Furthermore! All new Astras will have 3-pot petrol engines

That´s why a deal was made for this nice vechile. It was 1 year old, 26k km driven and for sale on quite a bargain.

Previos Corsa and Astra together.
Image

what I like:
  • I really like this car looks! :)
  • Adaptive cruise control
  • Punchy 147kw engine and smoooooooth automatic gearbox. It runs sth like 1750rpm @ 100km/h. No need to rev it over 2500rpm. Plenty low end torque.
  • Comfty ergonimic seats
  • LED headlights are phenomenal

whar Opel could have done better:
  • I expected it to have some exterior lights under mirror / on door cards
  • reverse camera is useless  I´m used to VW Passat hidden camera solution
  • Corsa had electric windshield heating that we already miss in these chill mornings

Greetings from the UK
Very nice car you have there , same as mine but I have the silver colour. VX-line does look good with the side skirts and bumpers and like you say the 1.6t engine is a good one.

Hello and congratulations to your K. Exactly because of these little weaknesses, I love the K. So you can wonderfully improve it to his liking.

Well, my "tuning" days are over I suppose :D Pretty sure there will be no major upgrades coming.
Actually I´m myself dailydriving mostly a Passat. Astra is driven mostly by my wife.

...and then I have an Ascona C CC
...and then I have a Commodore A from 1969. It has Senator´s 3,0 injection and 4-speed automatic fitted. Fuel, electricity, exhaust, bodywork etc needs to be done..

Plate was originally ordered for my 1998 85kw Combo. Sure it was quick delivery van :D

Here´s a picture of factory-fitted flat bottom steering wheel. Nice, huh?

WINTER arrived, finally :)

I´m surprised how car handles on snow with these Michelin all season tyres. Plenty of grip. Probably the best-handling front wheel drive car I´ve ever driven 8-)

And QuichHeat electric preheater really hepls defrosting. Happy!

btw, yesterday occured same case that some of you have experienced :D

They are there, but no one knows how to enable them. Sometimes they will be enabled because of some software glitch.

Next time he turns off the ignition, they will be gone again.
2016 Astra K 110HP, Opel Eye camera, front and rear parking sensors, dual zone climate control and heated front seats, sight and light pack.
