Right, you had to cut the hole. I built a stencil, drew and cut it out. Look ahead to see if the space behind the cover is sufficient. I put electricity over the C pillar. Since you can tie the cables to the existing cable with. Electricity comes from the boot light.

Ok, that's cool.
What light unit did you put in there? Is that the same one that's on the other side and equipped with a led bulb?
I changed my inside bulbs to leds and if I remember correctly, the set had one extra glove box/boot light led so I'd have that at hand if I just get another light unit in there.. :geek:

Exactly, the same as original was installed. Does not look good with different lights. Then another LED is inserted and it is ready.

The roof light surround caught my eye. Looks great in piano black.

Thanks,I bought them on Ebay, Audi was too expensive for me. Part numbers front left and right 8V4947417A and 8V4947418A, part numbers rear left and right 4G0853376 and 4G0853375. The backs have to be slightly bent, to warm slightly. They are then fixed with 3M adhesive tape. Then need to be powered.

Hello, something new on my ST. Have now installed a washer jet for the rear view camera. The installation was easier than expected. Will write the next days times an installation manual.

First I have to arrange the pictures and then translate the whole thing into English. Hope it becomes superficial. Pictures also say more than words.
