Been following the instructions carefully for the Sat Nav, trying to upload some custom POIs from a USB stick, but with no luck. The Sat Nav can see the POI file, but can't see any locations within the file. I'm pretty sure everything is exactly as it says in the manual.

Saved as plain text (UTF-8) with the extension .poi in a folder called myPOIs. Here's an example:

It uploads to the car, then asks if I want to assign categories for which I say no. Then when I go to My POIs, it opens the folder but says 'No Content Available'.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

I'm using this function, and do successfully load poi-files with more than 40.000 entries (yes, one of these goecaching geeks :) ).
The format is as adieg writes with Longitude first.

Some lines from one of the files I'm using (with coordinates in Norway, 5 degrees east and 60 degrees north):

05.23313,60.36810,"Banden #1 - Trad/Unkn (2.5/2.5)"
05.22482,60.36852,"Banden #9 - Trad/Micr (2.0/1.5)"
05.24165,60.36475,"Skarpafjellet - Trad/Smal (2.0/2.5)"
05.24370,60.36057,"En geocachers værste mareritt - Trad/Smal (2.0/1.5)"

I've tried 6 digits, leading 0, no spaces - but still no luck.

This is one of my locations -
00.956365,52.472878,"Snetterton"

I don't see any difference to yours.

Perhaps different software versions don't accept it?

I can see how to structure the POI text, but does it have to be converted to Unicode before loading it into Nav system via USB? (According to the Manual) If so, how is this achieved?
