If you have different software versions then please share information (so we will possibly know which software is latest):

Opel 1.4 150KM, Elite, navi 900, DAB package: software: 84028482, gracenote: 23199236, map: 23348556

Please include information if you have Opel or Vauxhall, what engine, what car version and which infotainment/navigation type.

Pretty steep are those map update prices though...

£149 + £5 shipping for the 'Europe - 2015/2016 map' and I think the map data is like 2-3 years old by the time they release.

My dealer told me that they can't see if any new software is available for the car unless they have the car physicaly plugged into their system.

Can that really be true in the year 2016!!

The info above as far as I know is for the Navi unit as each ECU module has its own software version

Hi

I don't think the updates you have had done have changed the version numbers being returned as I have exactly the same versions as you but mine has not been updated with the fuel update. It does need doing though unfortunately my dealer claims there isn't currently a fix for the issues.

Cheers

Paul

My dealer told me the same 2wks ago but as soon as they plugged my car in it came up with several updates. I'm not convinced with the fuel update as I've used 1/4 of tank and only done 88 miles, I'm keeping an eye on it and will probably end up booking it back in. Onstar still appears to be set for 52ltr tank not 48ltr.

I think the info being correlated here is only for the infotainment system and not the software version for the rest of the car

Just to let everyone know if there any update and your thinking of getting the new Astra or estate version and it factory order will be done at the manufacturer. When building the car Opel will inform the plant

Speak directly to Opel and give them your vin number and explain about the fuel gauge being 52litre in fact it should be 48litre and doesn't tally up with the app. In saying I would rather trust the car dashboard info then the app so don't relied on it to much. Also I told them about this website so they can keep a eye on what people are saying on here so they have a better understanding on what going on

Map 23348556

Seems to be the same, after update for RPO K74 HMI.

any updates on this one? Anyone got their software updated lately? If so, what versions did you get? I get my new MY17.5 and it seems to come with some old MY16 software. rather strange. Dealer doesnt know much either :/. Dont remember my versions though atm. In the hidden menu, i do see build version around 07/2016 i think. And for example, i do not have that "app store" icon.

I have a 1.6T Elite Nav which is a MY17.5, built Feb17 in Poland. Same software and map versions as Doadrian.
Software: 84156714
Map: 84131960
I am convinced the map software is out of date. I have contacted VX/Opel's 3rd party mapping suppliers HERE who have advised that the latest version for the Navi 900 Intellilink was released in December 2016 and numbered 84263309.
I am currently waiting to see what VX Customer Services say as it looks like they are installing software that on delivery needs an immediate update.

Almost offtopic:
What is a good reason to ask for a software update on "engine" without having to pay for the time used to update (as part of warranty)?

When i was last time at garage for recall-campaign, they check and confirmed that a update is available, but i have to make a separate (paid) appointment for that install.

Tell them your engine is stuttering and losing power as many others 1.4T
