They do seem to look good in almost any colour, a very striking looking car. Not fallen out of love with mine yet, which is good for me, so I'm sure yours will continue to entertain.

I'd also be interested to hear your views on the auto. I love mine and can't fault it. Why did I ever think I needed a manual car? The sport button works really well too. Turns the smooth gear changes into a real powerful feel to the car that is great fun to unleash. I would definitely recommend it.

Thanks all! After about 20 miles of driving, I've found it to be very quiet and it does have a bit of poke! I've not floored it or anything, being careful until it's run in but you definitely feel it's there.

The auto box is very smooth. Don't notice the changes and it's sensible with the ratios. I can feel it using engine braking too when slowing down. Not tried manual mode yet or sport, saving those for when I've run it in a little. I'm very happy with just over 2000rpm at 70mph!

I've had an auto for about 7 years now. I can drive manual but I find auto so much easier. This is my first car with a manual mode though so that will be quite good along the country lanes I'm hoping!

I have the SRi Nav 1.4T (150ps) in Summit White. I was in the market for a used one but just couldn't find an auto with front and rear parking sensors so opted for one without the sensors but had them retrofitted by AVRmobiles who did a great job. The auto box is excellent and I cannot fault it. The Sports mode is also positively noticeable but I rarely use it. Only used it a couple of times to see if it actually worked and I am pleased to say it did. My main issue is with the standard headlights which are crap really as I do a lot of driving on B roads. Pleased I did not upgrade to HIDS considering the new MOT rules. Looking for the best replacement bulbs to use? Car has now covered 13,000 miles and all is well bar the radio which was noisy (even with the ignition switched off) and had to be changed out by VX under warranty. VX told me the change out would have cost about £1000 if car was out of warranty! Car was first registered 27/02/17. I am a very low mileage driver so that was no problem for me. Runs well with no problems to date - touch wood lol. My over all opinion is that it is a very nice car to drive. I hope yours fares as well.

Thanks both! I have to admit to editing a stone chip or two out of the bumper haha (zooming in would reveal them) but it's holding up nicely. Will have to touch those up for real in the near future.

I took those photos after it had been serviced and washed by Vauxhall. We've detailed the car once (because it takes an eternity) and will probably make that an annual event. The car is on about 24500 miles now and still love driving it.

It's had numerous radio updates and a few rattles which I've managed to solve but otherwise very happy with it. I have seen a couple of Astra's about with the LED rear lights and I think I would order those if I had the choice again as they do look good.

Glad to hear you're getting on well with yours too!

There's bee a couple of threads on this recently. I did the old Vectra fix first as detailed here: https://vectra-c.com/forum/showthread.php?33655-A-kind-of-fix-for-the-poor-pre-facelift-headlights&highlight=lights then fitted Osram Nightbreakers and dip beam is much improved. If you do the same you'll need a small ish philips screwdriver on the 2 outer black adjusters, not the ones directly behind the main beam bulbs, I assume that's the sideways adjusters. Odd Vauxhall still set the headlights so low.
