Driving off with electric parking brake on

I can hear it disengage in about 1-2 seconds and away I go! I found to be really fast as well, I can still get a pretty quick take off with it on.

After figuring it out on the first day of ownership, I have never manually disabled the electronic parking brake. I let the car do it automatically.

Whether I drive away forwards or backwards, the electronic parking brake disengages automatically immediately. I just turn on the car, put it into gear and drive off.

You do know this procedure will wear off your brakes sooner, right? :!:
