Am I right to assume that alloys from another Astra will go straight on eg will Astra vxr alloys fit ?

Astra J is 5x105 or 5x115 dependent on engine size
Astra K 5x105

How would you go about making the tyre pressure sensors work with aftermarket wheels?

James 33 - Please be aware that you may need the relearn tool in order to get the car to pick up the new sensors.

Take a look at the details in this thread as there is a lot of great information that may help you out.
