Re: Astra 150 Auto

On my way home from a weekend away I had the engine management light came on. Drove over 80 miles with it on, there doesn't seem to be any issues with power or auto changing. What other issues could bring this light on? Regards. As always in these cases....Get a codereader on it. There are SO many ...

Thank you for confirming what I suspect.

It looks to me like they are doing their best to avoid taking the car back, which is the outcome I am after.
If they replace either the DPF or the faulty sensor, it should work just fine.

Re: My 2018, Carplay & Dual USB Mod

My cable is only a short one I got with a powerbank, but I've used it with the bank and my tablet drawing 2A, so I don't think the cable matters. I know a guy on YouTube, CliveDotCom, he's a Scottish electrowiz, probably more than me and you. I'm gonna order a second board, and send it to him as he...

Re: New astra update

The new infotainment system in the Facelift is IOU and the new system is IO6. The HMI has changed slightly and a company in the US called infotainment.com is working in loom adapters. I found this Chevrolet brochure on the current GM infotainment systems and it gives a great over view on our system...

Re: OpCom on astra K

I can confirm that it snows in Australia and we have a flourishing snow industry at places like Falls Creek, Mount Buller and Mount Hotham contrary to popular belief. What’s stupid is that Holden doesn’t offer the cooled seats in Australia. Well you learn something every day. My vision of Australia...

Re: My 2018, Carplay & Dual USB Mod

1A is still a major improvement, with the 4-500mA my phone was barely able to keep it's charge, when used with AA, and navigation. 1A means that it will actually be able to charge the phone. The more adventurous person might take it apart and find the current limiting resistor and change this out fo...

Re: Persistent DP Filter Warning

I have recently purchased a 17 plate Astra cdti which has spent at least two weeks at the dealer investigating frequent 'exhaust filter cleaning' notifications. Almost all my driving is on motorways and this is not something I have ever experienced in any other diesel car I have driven. The dealer ...
