Re: Where do you place your smartphone for good GPS reception?

I have an S7 too and I have had no issues using Google Maps or Spotify whilst the phone sits either where you describe or on the seat next to me. I normally have the phone head down in the cup holder itself rather than on it...

Re: I'm leaving

To be fair, there is probably not a 'bad' car out there. There are always going to be lemons, and God forbid you get one of those. There will also be those that hate Vauxhall or Ford or Peugeot. The main thing is, we all have a choice. I have had Peugeots, Fiats (OK, only one!) Alfas, even a Ford. I...

Re: How to get android auto on car screen

This may sound obvious but have you checked in settings that 'Projection' is not set to detect Apple Car Play, if it has been changed it will not change back automatically. Also, is your cable of good quality? People have said only genuine cables will work... Also, sometimes your phone needs a boot,...

Re: New rims?

Silver rims all the way, but I am 'old fashioned' like that. I think the wheel gets lost in the arch if it is too dark, although I have put shadow chrome on a couple of cars in the past

Re: 1.6 CDti 136bhp

I've just checked the Vauxhall website and I can't see any mention of breakdown cover once serviced. If buying from Vauxhall you will get it as part of the Network Q deal and I am sure you can extend for a cost. Breakdown cover is not that expensive anyway although the Ford deal does look good. As a...

Re: 2 Years old

For me, the sweet spot was the MY 17.0 - when the shark's fin arrived - I am biased though. I got the Watts linkage, but had to fight to get underbonnet and front wings sound insulation fitted - glad I did though! My Astra K is only a 16 plate (2016) mine has black shark fin aerial (ex Vauxhall fle...

Re: 1.6 cdti engine??

My CDTi 110 is now 15 months old with 9500 miles on it, I have had no problems whatsoever, except that I am having to sell it!

Interested?

Anyone?

Re: How often should I refill engine oil?

Hi guys, Noticed today that my car shows it is on about 49% of oil life left, just done 4770 miles. It's a Aug 2017 1.4T model, petrol. Do I just need to wait until its service in August time, or should I look at topping it up between then? If so, what is the oil I need to go for? Thanks in advance...
