Peugeot is replacing the engine package to that of it's own making, It pays GM to use the original engine packages and I presume to do so a new revised sub frame would be needed and the brunt of the savings would have to be made to cover those costs.

Why not paint them, Dealerships have the valets use acid based cleaners as they clean the wheels quicker for a fast turn around, But it stains the caps, Painting then clear coat gives them a good protection, Also winter salt does the same in staining the caps, Next service visit remove them before t...

The onstar system works well if the car is stolen, A friend had is 1.4T stolen when the house was burgled, The thief made off with the car and goods, The car was tracked and immobilised without damage, But the thief had the keys, The downside it took 3 weeks before the police released it to a dealer...

Looks like they want to push the sales for the other PSA brands, Why on earth would you close 100 showrooms, The strength of the vauxhall market is built on sales and customer loyalty. Just look at the van plant all built on Renault engineering and it appears no where in the frame on the next model,...

Astra face lift

Had an interesting conversation today with a friends mate, Who works at ellesmere port, There is a face lift due, But Peugoet it seems have gone for a new front end and subframe. I think they are trying to incorparate Pug under pinning, The current model is down for a new model 2021.

I fitted a set and it helps keep down the muck off the rear window, But I still get muck within the door sill.

Finally have the car back from the dealer, Headlight replaced and electronic control units, 2 pints of water within once removed and corrosion on the control units (3), Vauxhall field engineer confirmed production fault, The car had 5 code faults and to top it off the alarm was going off the day bef...
