Connects to internet at home and at work and my phone when driving. Live view and parking mode. Just looking at the new 4k model but its pricey. So far in 3 years i h...

Re: 1.6cdti (136), timing chain/tensioner issues?

You can change the chain on this engine in 3 hours using a split link and pulling it through. The chain aint the problem its the tensioner and thats a design issue. Might want to speak to Fiat about that one.

Re: 1.6cdti (136), timing chain/tensioner issues?

Guys a tight tensioner is just as bad as a slack one. Unless it rattles for more than say 10 seconds dont worry. All oil will fall/ settle at the bottom of the engine. This is normal. If the car rattles all the time be worried. If the tensioner fills up then tightens the chain its doing its intended...

My car passed but is going in at end of feb/ early mar. They have to get the ones that failed the test done first as...

The reason it mainly affects diesels is because the vaccum pump keeps delivering assistance to the brakes meaning you can get the pedal lower causing the seals to get damaged. They deform beyond there designed intention causing a loss of power or efficiency. This could be the brakes or the clutch. I...

Re: Pressure sensor valves maintenance

The problem you have is the wheels have corroded around the stem base... Using acid cleaners at the car wash does this. As for being burnt... Kwikfit quoted you for a new sensor @ £79.95. If you want to just change the valve stem do that. Could you imagine how many valve stems go on every different ...

Re: START - STOP PROBLEMS

Forgot to mention. The ignition needs to go through 50 ignition on and off cycles to reset the bcm. (Body controle module).
Ignition on/ ignition off 50 times.
This resets what the car thinks is the norm.
