Re: Vauxhall Exclusive

Always hankered after a metallic red, as first appears on the configurator. The one available to Renault customers is very nice and something which Vauxhall should have included for the Astra, imo.

I still think the Deep Sky metallic, which I had on my Astra 'J', takes a lot of beating.....

Re: New poster; Missing Parking Sensor

Welcome to the forum! Ripping out parking sensors isn't something I've had experience of (!), but I should have thought it very unlikely that they could have been removed without some visible signs of tampering. Looks amazing!

Do you mind my asking how much you've spent on all this so far? Just a rough idea. Cheers!

Blimey! What's wrong?

Went in to YouTube this morning to check out a music video and. amazingly, an ad for the Astra Sports Tourer appeared!! :o They're not actually trying to promote the 'K' again are they? It was described as a 'True Brit'. Well, mine was made in Poland, but at least the ad is a step in the rig...

Re: Diamond Cut Alloys

My Astra 'J' didn't seem to be too sensitive to automatic car washes (there used to be a really good one near where I live in SE London - sadly, no more). However, since I've had my 'K' I'm very particular how I clean it and always do it myself. On the diamond cut alloys, I use a specialist foam 'pr...

Re: Thinking of an Astra SRI Nav 1.4t 150.

Would you guys recommend? Previously had a Leon FR 1.4tsi, currently own a fiesta 1.0 ecoboost and thinking of either the new astra K (used) or getting a Leon back, anyone had experience with both? No experience of the Leon as such, but I did test drive one and it felt a bit cheap and 'plasticky' c...

Re: Thinking of an Astra SRI Nav 1.4t 150.

My wife has had hers for about 16 months now, and she absolutely loves it. She's done over 20k miles in it. Still on original front tyres, returns average 42 mpg, quite nippy, handles well, lots of gadgets and very good value for money. I offered to chop in it for a Golf and she refused.........so ...
