Re: Cabin filter air flow direction

When you take out the old filter all the crud is on the top and the bottom is clean.
This can only suggest the airflow is top to bottom.

Re: New car or new tyres?

I changed from the dreaded Bridgestone tyres to Michelin primacy 4 about 18 months ago. Pleased with their performance, but a lot of the noise/uncomfortable ride is due to the poor state of a lot of UK roads. M25 junction 5 - 9 will shake your fillings out regardless of tyres fitted. :o 😂😂 I did ex...

Re: Dashcam installation with pics of placement

In that case welcome to the forum. What your dash cam wants is a wire to let it know when the car is on and being used by yourself. You could use a number of fuses, such as the rear wiper, I used the infotainment one. This will only provide the dash cam power when the car is in use by you. Wiper is ...

Not in the trunk but I believe that the usb plugs in front of the rear seats only charge when the ignition is on.

Re: 1.6 Sri boost pressure sensor location

Not 100% sure but I think it would be at the bottom of the engine and would be right as the air leaves the intercooler.

That way the reading would be most accurate. I remember reading that it was very deep on another post.

Re: Rear Wiper Blade??

The correct Bosch blade is H253 = 10 inch(250 mm) Following a recommendation on here I fitted the H311 rear blade = 12 inch, as fitted to Astra J. Straight swap gives a much larger swept area, absolutely brilliant. Don't understand manufacturer's reasoning for fitting the smaller blade (H253) Same ...

Re: Disabling parking sensors

We have front and rear sensors on the Astra’s at work. I don’t on my personal astra. The fleet mechanic has installed a button/switch between the gear stick and the hand break that will disable the front parking sensors when pressed. I imagine he had so many people moaning he just worked out how to ...
