Hi Tom I have a 16 plate 1.6 Astra cdti, this happened to me and engine is knackered I think guides worn chain come off into oil pump then wallop engines goosed oil changed 2-3 times a year not happy cars stuck on the drive had to borrow a car for my job, hope you don’t end up like me best wishes C...

Check the pivot the blade slots into isn't cracked and pulling apart, the earlier keys were prone to this and i see no reason the newer ones should be any betterScreenshot_20201205-131528_Gallery.jpg Do you know if that part can be bought somewhere, it seems that the Astra K keys are screwed togeth...

Sounds like a sticking caliper,maybe the handbrake mechanism,maybe the main brake,
how old is the car and manual or electric handbrake ?

early cars have the pre-tensioner on the buckle (as expected)
intermediate cars have it on the retractor at the seat frame

The later cars (mine is late 2018) DO NOT have seat belt pretensioners I dont know when the changed probably to save money So if yours did you will get an airbag fault showing You could swop them over with the wiring Are pre-tensioners not a legal requirement now? I think the earlier K's have them,...
