Re: Is the fuel filter for petrol astra k changeable?

I don't know bout the 1.4 petrol turbo, but the dealer service manager told me that the 1.6 petrol turbo no longer has one. One less thing to go wrong? That guy should lose his job on the spot. Of course the car still has a fuel filter, because why would it not? Our motors fundamentally need them. ...

Re: So many tailgaters...

Yes it's true they're everywhere. As are pot holes. The UK roads aren't the best!!

I always tell myself that I'll slow right down the next time someone tail gates me but most of the time I need to get somewhere quickly myself! It's just selfish and dangerous driving at the end of the day.

Re: New recall

Well after ignoring the stage 2 recall several times Vauxhall sent me a registered post recall so booked in for today. My car has had no brake or clutch issues and done over 50k running with super chips bluefin. When I actually read the recall I reluctantly booked the car into Vauxhall as the recal...

Something like this goes a long way https://www.racshop.co.uk/sonax-interior-multi-surface-cleaner-500ml.html you want something all-in-one you can use to clean different surfaces.

Crikey! Must be a nightmare being on edge all the time with you living near a school. Can't believe how scruffy some people are trying to drive off after doing something like this, it's good that you caught her and got her details. My fingers are crossed for you that you don't have to deal with anot...

Re: 1st service query......

Make sure you sign up for Vauxhall Service Club. It's free and gives you a discount for parts, service and MOT at dealerships. Also call around different Vauxhall dealers in your area as each one will have different prices (or so I've noticed in my area). Thanks for the tip on this one - I hadn't r...

Re: Mods that affect insurance

Woooowww I'd be well gutted if I was your mate! That sounds like it was a bit of a kick in the balls to the ol' bank account. It's a shame that you apparently have to declare such small mods to insurers but I can kind of see why they'd be strict about it. Anyway it's probably for the best to always...
