Re: Suddenly sluggish?

I had the ABS lamp come on, on my petrol corsa, when the coilpack went bad. Think the code had to do with the performance of the car not as expected in relations to the ABS/ESP.

But since this is a diesel, it's unlikely it's gonna be a coilpack issue :)

Re: Vauxhall Astra k 1.6cdti loud rattle

Yeah £2300 is very high but that’s Vauxhall for you, my mechanic even drove to my local Vauxhall and they denied all knowledge of any issue, then also couldn’t find any TSB 🤷‍♀️ so don’t know why. Think my bill will be around £700 mark maybe a little more. Will confirm how it drives when I receive ...

Re: Suddenly sluggish?

Honestly....Get the codes read out, either by a garage or someone with a cheap ELM327 style device.

If the ELM327 device find no codes, you need to have it read out at a garage or from someone with a Opcom style reader, that will do ABS module fault code readout.

Re: Android Auto

Hi all. What is the latest fix for stopping android auto from freezing. Thanks. Never had any problems with this, but i know that Android auto at times can be very picky about what cable is used, so the first thing i would do if i had this problem, was to try with some other cables. Also, if you ha...

Re: AC Whistling?

Mine whistles as well. To me it sounds like when some of the blending flaps inside the airbox is closed, the whisteling is because there is blowby, because they dont seal perfectly. Try to play with the blending flaps, maybe you can figure out which one it is. I usually dont hear the whisteling thou...

Here's the new 308. Personally I think it looks horrible.

What's with that hideous logo on the front. ??

That grill looks a lot like the one on the MG ZS with all of those "chrome dots" ?

Re: 1.6 CDTI Rattle Free Fix by Vauxhall.

I really don't think Stellantis are bothered now, as this engine is already discontinued. They've made that many engines now over recent times too. If customers were important they'd of already done something about it or even fully tested their engines prior to full production. It's the used car ma...

Re: Some questions around lspi 1.4T

I phoned my nearest Vauxhall dealership (they've been on the go for literally DECADES selling exclusively Vauxhalls) and I mentioned LSPI to the service guy. He had never heard of it. I also happened to meet the mechanic who owned the independent garage I went to for years and asked him about it. H...
