Added to my18 onwards
This was done as a technical recall to all 2016 and 2017 Astras with 1.4T engine in Finland.
Did they not do a recall in the UK?

Re: 1.4 Turbo gas guzzler!

Hey! I have an Astra 1.4 150hp automatic with 17000km bought last year. Since new the I'm getting 7.6-8l/100km. Any advices? Thanks! Your consumption is pretty much on par with mine. I'm getting around 7-7,5/100 (38-40 mpg) on summer and 8-8,5 (33-35 mpg) on winter with my mixed drives of town and ...

Re: Wrong oil caused engine failure

Took in to Vauxhall who have said it needs a new engine because where I had the service put the old Dexos 2 oil rather than the newer recommended oil. As a result they’ve voided the warranty. Considering dexos 1 gen. 2 oil was not even on the market at the time of the Astra K release, and all cars ...

Is the dot matrix visible as this has put me off in the past?
It will be if you stand right next to the car, but if you're even a bit further away you won't be able to see it.

Re: Is a Vauxhall Astra a good first car?

Hello everyone I am 22 and currently taking my driving lessons, once I pass my test my dad has offered me his current car so he can get a new one, I was thinking is it a good car to start with? All I know about it is it doesn't have an overly big engine and there is no modding of any kind on it. It...

Re: TPMS Error

Hmmm. After a six mile drive and being left in the restaurant car park for a couple of hours the fault has now cleared. It's normal for it to require some driving before the information updates So what do you do when you relearn it????? You need the tool to tell the car what tyre is at what positio...

Re: Astra K 1.4T Remap

It's a bit hard to understand since the trims/models of the cars are probably different in whatever country it was made in because there's some on there I've never seen and mines not on there, I have the "Excite" trim/model with the heated seats and steering wheel. The trims are those used by Opel ...

Re: Astra K 1.4T Remap

Mines not got stop/dtart but I can't find anything that will tell me what gearbox it has in in the Manual. Yeah, they don't disclose that information in the manual... I've seen this info on opel-infos.de, which is an often referenced website for information regarding Opel. It's run by a private ind...
