Re: Considering buying advice needed

What is the reliability of the 1.4t auto overall, any known common faults..? Especially with regards to the gearbox I have seen that PSA have bought vauxhall, no disrespect I do not want a French car, is there any particular model years you recommend? Any advice or info would be much appreciated Th...

Does the whole s/s gearbox not being so good apply to the 136ps 1.6cdti?

Anyone know what box that engine is running?

Sorry to hijack the thread!
Based on the information from opel-infos.de the 1.6CDTI has M32 gearbox

Re: Wheel nut plastic cover remover

My car didn't have one either, but I removed them with thin long nose pliers. You can also get those plastic remover tools for cheap from china (ebay, ali etc..).

Re: No android auto support - Can I update?

I was in contact with one Opel dealership and they said the software has to be update in the dealership (cannot be done using an usb stick) and says it even takes several hours... Weird but I would assume that it does it by itself even if it takes some time. He said it was over 300 euros to update ...

Re: Automatic Lights "Problem" - Won't turn off.

My "problem" is the one that might be known around, either the light sensor or the firmware is stupid as a door and in "dusky day" if I pass by a tunnel and come out the lights will keep on, or even in a sunny day if the sunlight doesn't go directly on the sensor they will be kept on and the worst ...

Re: Did you get the new fancy update of Android Auto?

I can verify the part about the new UI enable -toggle needing something from server side to be enabled. In Finland AA is not officially available, so I have installed the newest version from APKMirror last week. Yestarday I didn't have the toggle in my AA settings, today I do. Just enabled it, so I ...

Re: Are all the astra k's from 2016 onwards have damaged engines?

Can anyone calrify? Or am I just panicing? It's quite normal to be worried about an issue such as this, if you don't have all the details at hand. The dealer not explaining the situation in full detail and Opel/Vx/GM using idiotic versioning schemes for their oils does not help either. It's true th...

Added to my18 onwards
This was done as a technical recall to all 2016 and 2017 Astras with 1.4T engine in Finland.
Did they not do a recall in the UK?
