Re: On star

Upcoming PSA/Vauxhall cars will be fitted with PSA current onstar equivalent but from what I have found is any Vauxhall fitted with Onstar will stop working from end 2020 with no plans to update them to use any PSA systems. This is simply not true. Vauxhall/Opel did not confirm neiter denied. Based...

Don’t forget to tell your insurance too. If you have a smash and they find anything undeclared you will end up in a world of pain.....

Re: Tuning Box for 1.4T 150

I’m one of the haters of these boxes they just trick sensors and cause no end of issues. A proper well done re-map with rolling road is the only way I would and have tuned an engine. Re: sport mode from cold?

Sport mode does not change anything on the engine or ECU map it just shortens the throttle response making it feel quicker. You won’t do any harm using it from cold other than maybe revving it a bit harder. Same rules apply letting it warm up before giving it the beans is better for the engine in th...

Re: Reading the oil level on the dipstick

It should be between the two hashed (combed) markings on the pic above. Remember to remove the dipstick and wipe and the re-insert and turn 90’ then remove for t...

Re: Astra 1.6T Elite Nav

The 1.6T was never a great seller so PSA decided to discontinue it early. It’s a GM engine so would have been replaced anyway at some point.

Re: Under Bonnet Sound Mat

Mine is a July 2016 and has all the soundproofing under bonnet and in wings but I think it was standard on UK built 1.6T Sports Tourers as my mates is an 18 plate and still has it all too.....
