Re: CHANGES TOO 2018 ASTRA K SRI NAV

If that’s a new design steering wheel I will go to spec savers On that other post someone's quoted it's the same as their 2016 model so maybe there's different steering wheels out there, and you've got the same as that one.Mine looks like this Hi That's the original design of steering wheel the lin...

Re: Stop parking sensors constantly beeping!

Mine's a 2017 model, I can switch them of with the button in the centre, but they do come back on as soon as the ignition is cycled. Does get very annoying Hi If I switch them off with the button in front of the gear stick they automatically come back on when I slow to a stop at for example a junct...

Re: Stop parking sensors constantly beeping!

I previously had a 2014 Mazda 3 with front and rear parking sensors which worked perfectly well for parking - without the need for this idiotic autonomous park assist nonsense. Far superior car to the Astra, by the way, in every respect. Hi That's nice to know as I am considering one as my next car...

Re: Service from dealer ?

Hi all Well think my car is due for service soon. Mileage is 20,000 and on a 16 Plate. (1.6cdti) I think it’s a major that needs doing ? Not sure how it works from dealer but anyone has there’s done ? What’s the normal price and what does this include ? Worth getting it done from dealers ? Cheers J...

do the hazard light turn on automatically after suddenly/hard braking?
Hi

I don't think so but the brake lights are supposed to flash.

Page 158 in my manual
Adaptive brake light
During full braking, all three brake lights flash for the duration of ABS control.

Re: Optional Extras after sale

As for radar these are very accurate. Hi They are if used correctly but by targeting multiple points on a vehicle you can show it to be going faster. There was a case I read about where someone was sent a speeding ticket for doing 115mph (I think) in a car that couldn't go that fast (proved by a tr...

Re: How often should I refill engine oil?

I know it’s not a level monitor. It’s just strange how mine is gonna reach 0% way before a year at around 4,000 miles at this rate, seems a lot faster than most people’s, but I should just ignore that and wait for the first service? Why is it there if it’s to be ignored? That’s more my concern I gu...

Re: How often should I refill engine oil?

I’ve read the previous posts but they don’t answer my question... Hi Yes they do if you bother to search the Forum you will find several threads on the same subject. Its an oil life monitor not a level monitor. You should have your oil changed either every year or 20000 miles which ever comes soone...
