Re: Tyre pressures

Mine are set at 34 all round with no issues and handles perfect with excellent fuel economy ..when i first got the car they were set @ 40psi and the handling was appalling...thought I was going to lose control at one point on the mororway and that was just moving from middle lane to outside lane! Ok...

Re: Electrical fault??

Mine hasn’t done this for sometime but I doubt it has gone away...like you all I do is remove the rear light, take a couple of bulbs out and put the same ones back in and leave the car for ten mins or so and all back to normal...no one seems to know what the issue is but I’m wondering if it’s the Bo...

How much torque can take MT6 1.4T 92KW?
I never understand why people go off topic...this thread was started by someone asking about the 1.0t therefore why do people ask about the 1.4t?

Why not start a new thread 😘

Re: 1.0T Remap

Sorry for jumping into conversation in that way but is that safe to 1.0T to map the engine up to 220 Nm? Imho our gearbox is designed for lower torque. The gearbox can handle 220Nm, anything past it would be asking for the gearbox to die a slow painful death. Personally I wouldn’t worry about the t...

Re: 1.0T Remap

Personally I wouldn't entertain any tuner who has to take the ECU off the car and 'tune' on a bench...you would be far better using EDS... ok they are expensive but at least you are dealing with a reputable tuner or even getting the car 'live' mapped on a rolling road which is even better...and as ...

100 octane generally always has more cleaning properties which is crucial for GDI engines.
Used higher octane fuel for the last 30k miles with no issues and would not use standard with a direct injection engine...they coke up easily as it is without putting crap fuel in your car as well

Don't all new premium tyres feel brilliant in the first few months, especially if they have just replaced heavily worn ones?

Re: CrossClimate +

I used mine in the snow earlier this year and they are fantastic..could pull away from idiots tailgating uphill with ease and at one point I hit 50mph and car never slipped. Bet the muppet behind me thought I had 4 wheel drive 🤣 In the wet they are also fantastic...never spin up under hard accelerat...

Re: 1.4 turbo remap

I am thinking of having bluefin remap, y/n You will be lucky...superchips have not even developed a bluefin for the turbo petrol Astra k’s. They say the need development cars for both the 1.0t and 1.4t before they can release anything...they have been saying this for near three years now so don’t t...
